Original silver gelatin photograph depicting Wilson as President of Princeton University in 1902. Signed by Wilson in dark black ink “Woodrow Wilson”. 7.5 x 10.75 inch. Probably slightly trimmed, retouched small bend in the middle of photo and minor handling wear, else good condition.

Autographed letter signed “Woodrow Wilson”. 1p., 3.75 x 5.0 inch. Princeton, 1903 January 26 Letter to Betty Breese Blodget. In full: “I cheerfully comply with your request for my autograph. It is a small return for your kindness in desiring it.” Handsomely matted in gray with a photograph of Wilson to an overall of 7.75 x 11.75 inch. Fine condition. Both items removable affixed with photo corners. Wilson remains uncommon in handwritten letters.

In full: “I have just seen in the newspapers a notice of Aunt Sarah’s death and write to express my sincere sympathy. It had not been my privilege to see Aunt Sarah since I was a lad but I remember her very distinctly and wish it might have been possible for me to see her in her last days. May I not again express my very sincere sorrow that she should have been taken away from you?” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Mailing fold, handling wear, else good condition.
