Barack Obama (1961)

One of a kind signed Cuba Newspaper

Newspaper signed, 1p. (upper part of the first page), 10.0 x 7.25 inch. The March 21, 2016 edition of the Cuban newspaper "Trabajadores" ("Workers") reporting on Obama''s state visit to that country, the first by a U.S. president since Calvin Coolidge made the trip in 1928. Obama signs boldly in black ink over his image on the front page, adding the inscription "To Dayanna - All the best!" Fine condition. The former president added his signature to the newspaper at a golf course at  Martha’s Vineyard in the presence of the previous owner, an employee of that establishment. The "Dayanna" mentioned in the inscription is the daughter of the previous owner. The item is accompanied by a photo of Obama signing the newspaper on the golf course, as the previous owner looks on. Handsomely matted in gray to an overall of 13.0 x 8.5 inch, removable affixed with photo corners. Historic and one of a kind autograph and the first Obama where I can guarantee the authenticity.
